Cortège — Final Journey Specialists
The journey matters
as much as the destination.

Drawn by horses.
Carried by history.
Our Victorian glass-sided carriages are maintained to museum standard and drawn by matched black Friesians with full white plumes. They move at walking pace, as they always have, and they have a way of making a street go quiet.
Available for full horse-drawn processions or as a hearse only, with a following fleet to match. Suitable for any distance within the United Kingdom.
Mirror-black.
Gliding through silence.
Our Lincoln Continental stretches are hand-polished before every engagement. They carry a family through city streets without a sound — no rattle, no hesitation, nothing to interrupt the gravity of the moment.
Chauffeur-driven by uniformed attendants trained in procession protocol. Available as single vehicles or coordinated motorcades for larger services.

The same steady hands.
Every single time.
From a small country church to a cathedral service, from a dawn departure to a late afternoon procession, the attention to detail does not change with the size of the gathering. Every vehicle is prepared as if it were the only one.
We work directly with funeral directors, families, and celebrants. There is no minimum. There is no standard package. There is only what the occasion requires.
Those who carry others
through their hardest days.
We arranged a Victorian horse-drawn carriage for a family who wanted to honour a man who had spent his life restoring old carriages. The procession stopped traffic on the high street, and people removed their hats. Cortège understood exactly what was needed without being asked twice.
Margaret Holloway
Funeral Director, Holloway & Sons, Bath
My father was a quiet man who drove a black cab for thirty years. We wanted something that moved the way he moved — unhurried, dignified. The Lincoln they provided was immaculate. The driver barely needed to be told a thing.
Thomas Adeyemi
Family Client, Bristol
I coordinate non-traditional celebrations of life and the vehicle is always the hardest part to get right. Cortège have never once given me a vehicle that didn't match the person we were honouring. That reliability is everything in this work.
Siobhán Callery
Celebrant & Procession Coordinator, Edinburgh

Every procession begins
with a single conversation.
Whether you are a funeral director with specific requirements, a family with a clear vision, or a celebrant coordinating something entirely your own — we begin by listening. There is no form to fill before that.
